"Jefferson Parish investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for the gunman they say killed a 22-year-old from Gretna after a heated exchange at a Harvey bar early Saturday morning. Devin Bonilla, 24, of Marrero is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder, said Col. John Fortunato, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Witnesses said Bonilla shot Bowie Richard at The Edge Sports Bar & Daiquiris in the 2700 block of Lapalco Boulevard about 2:40 a.m., according to Fortunato. Bonilla was last seen fleeing in a dark-colored, four-door 2001 Ford F-150. The pick-up truck's had a Louisiana license plate with the number B850460.
Anyone with information about the murder of Bowie Richard or the whereabouts of Devin Bonilla is asked to call the Sheriff's Office investigations bureau at 504.364.5300. The public can also call Crimestoppers at 504.822.1111 or toll-free at 877.903.7867. Tips can be texted to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637); text TELLCS then the crime information. Callers or texters do not have to give their names or testify and can earn a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an indictment."

He was in the 141 with my husband, and also grew up in our old neighborhood. He has always had issues, and my husband said he did nothing but cause problems in the NG. It's sad that this is the type of "man" we had at one point defending our country. A coward little boy who's pride was too much for even himself to handle. SMH #RIPBowie your legacy lives on through your family and your music.

This knucklehead is same guy who just a couple years ago shot n killed an intruder of his then residence, then fled to his Mommas house. Caused some confusion, and he was temporarily detained. I do remember at the time he was a member of 141/256 La. Nat. Guard. He is quite a piece of work. Every time we've dealt with him I remember he's been high. Most times to the point he's usually got the "doper's nod" going on
